Exciting Trips or Experiences for Students

I am the Technology Integration Coach at a 6-12 campus in Philadelphia and would love to take select-groups of students on trips for local experiences, places, etc. (or even virtual!). Any suggestions?

I do know that our local Apple Store has scheduled learning sessions, but hoping for more!

Oh - love place-based learning. A couple of ideas come to mind. What about city stories? Students explore digital storytelling through walking field trips around Philadelphia OR even virtual design experiences with partners like NASA or Smithsonian Learning Lab. Another idea would be community design/community improvement challenge. Students identify community spaces that could be improved, take photos, and use Freeform to create improvement blueprints.
