Students in 6th grade ELA created a song or rap about a reading or writing skill. They had to make a chorus (hook) that repeats at least twice throughout the song and include verses that contain imagery. Students also had to create a catchy title for their song. Students recorded their song in GarageBand and then exported the song file and uploaded it to Canva where they created graphics and animation to go with their music.
